Just do It!
From Pastor Shemalya
“He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4
Are there things (as with many folk) that you are just afraid of doing? Why? In the verse that I've listed, a person wouldn't sow seed because they are observing the wind. They can see the effects of strong winds: the leaves are violently blowing–some are falling off, saplings are bowing, they can hardly hold an upright walk, trash is blowing through the air, etc. Why sow when I already know that my seed is going to blow away? Dark clouds are forming in the air: looks like rain is coming. Why sow when my seed is going to be washed away?
If you're a farmer, it would make sense to observe the weather: that's naturally wise farming. But are people of God to walk according to what naturally makes sense?
“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.”
Ecclesiastes 11:6
People of God are to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Because of this, many times, when something is in your heart to do and it's like a holy fire burning within (not lust or simulated FROM the flesh), just do it. Don't hesitate because of what is known; as-a-matter-of-fact, dive into doing it–deciding to journey with God. Trust His guiding love for you. If He doesn't want you to, He'll shut the door. The verse that I shared (Ecclesiastes 11:6) instructs you to “just do it.” Take the chance. Pay it forward by faith.
“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness” 2 Corinthians 9:10.
He gives seed to sowers. If He gives seed, He also plans for a harvest. He will increase what you execute. God will do this for you naturally and spiritually. He will make ALL grace abound toward you!
I bind the spirit of fear that has caused you to be cautious all your life. I bind the torment of decision-making. I loose the Spirit of Peace over you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. JUST DO IT!!!
The Lord be with you. Amen.
